Blockbuster is back. Today it is expected to launch a new streaming video service to take on Netflix. Blockbuster was bought out of bankruptcy by Dish Network for $230 million last April and everybody, including Netflix, has been waiting for it to fully enter the digital age with an all-you-can-eat streaming video service.

We will learn later today exactly how Blockbuster plans to compete. The fight should be interesting. Both Blockbuster and Netflix have well-established brands. However, Blockbuster’s brand is more associated these days with shuttered and empty stores. Can a relaunch restore the shine to its tarnished brand?

Meanwhile, Netflix is having its own brad challenges. Its recent price hike for some customers, followed by its announcement that it will split off its DVD-only business into the poorly-named Qwikster is alienating many of its customers. Still, it has the advantage here with more than 20 million subscribers paying for streaming (half of which are streaming-only subscribers). Relatively speaking, in the U.S. we are still at the very early stages of adoption for streaming full-length TV shows and movies. Which brand is better positioned? Take the poll below.

Kishore is getting ready for his office. He is having an important meeting with client today in his office. It’s already late for his office. He is shouting at his wife “Swetha, have you prepared me the lunch or not? It is getting late.” She replied “Yes Kishore. It’s ready and I have kept it in the table” He again asked her “Hey where are my neck tie?” She replied “Ya here it is” and gave him his tie. She called him softly “Kishore….” He replied “Ya tell me fast. Its getting late for me” She said “Can you come home fast tonight, So that we could go somewhere outside. Its long time since we go outside” He saw her face and told her “Don’t you see me how busy I am for the past two weeks. I have some important assignments to get completed. So don’t expect me soon today, I may come very late tonight.” He ended with a bye and left for his office.

Kishore and Swetha got married a year ago. He is working in one of the most reputed company. He always makes himself busy with his office works. It has become a daily routine for him to come late to his home, wake up late and again rush to his office. It’s been a very long time, since he spent time with his wife. He always forgets his family. He feels his office as more important than his wife. He even forgets that he has his wife waiting for him in his house. This develops hatred among them. They start to fight even for silly things. They use to start the day with a fight and even end it with a fight. Their relationship is becoming worse.

Swetha was thinking to herself “How could he forget that today is our wedding day. His office is always important for him than me. He always makes him busy whether he has work in his office or not. He never remembers me. Now I really doubt whether he likes me or not. I am not going to talk to him when he comes back today” she started to cry. Though she was angry, she use to wait awake for him everyday night till he returns. Even that day she was waiting for him. She was very tired and she slept at last. He comes very late even that day. He sees her sleeping and without wanting to disturb her, he too went and sleeps. The next day morning she wakes up early. She went and prepared him the food. When she saw him, she got angry and didn’t speak even a word to him. She didn’t even reply him whenever he talks with her. He too becomes angry with her silence. The days roll by with their misunderstanding and silly fights. He always feels that he should not fight with her, but every small conversation will end up in a fight. He was not able to concentrate in his works.

Everyday he uses to fight with her and go to office. The same happened that day too. He reached his office, but he was not able to concentrate in his work. He really felt sad for fighting with her. He was sitting in his computer. When he opened his yahoo he found an advertisement which read “Online psychologist. Tell us your problem, we will provide you a solution.” He clicked on the ad and it opened to a new page. It was an online psychologist website. He was asked to login and they collected his personal information. On seeing him from India he was taken to a new window where he was shown some number of Indian doctor’s name. Of those he chooses a name and started to talk with her. He hopes that a lady would give him a better solution. They started with an introduction. He told his name and explained his problem. He told her that his wife doesn’t understand him. After all he is working for her and his family. He said to her “She is always fighting with me. She never listens to me. She never understood my problem. She never understands how much problem I have to face in my office.” The doctor interrupts “Wait Mr.Kishore. This is one of the most common complaints we use to get always. Instead of telling that she never understands you, why can’t you try understanding her?” She continued “Hey, Can I ask you a question. When did you take her out for the last time? Did you ever give her a gift? More than everything when you both did share some soft words” He was not able to answer any of her questions. He said “You see, I am very busy in my office. I have to spend more than fifteen hours in my office. Most of the days, I have to go to office at seven in the morning and I could come back only by midnight. How do I have time?” She responded angrily “You might be busy with your work but don’t you know your family is equally important as your work. Don’t you think that spending time for her is also important? Don’t you know that you are the only one whom she needs most” He couldn’t answer her again. She continued “Please understand that spending time for her is much more important. Hide your tensions from her and your kind words itself will solve half of your problems.” He was just thinking of what she says for the whole day. He finished his work soon and decided to leave to home fast that day.

After a long time Kishore went to his home early in the evening. Swetha was really surprised. She could not believe. She was thinking whether it was a dream. He gave her a gift. When she opened it was a saree. She really couldn’t believe her eyes. She asked “Am I dreaming?” He said “No dear, what you are seeing is not a dream” She could not control herself “Tears flow down her cheeks”. He consoled her and said “I love you dear” She hugged him and said “I too love you dear.” Both loved each other but a small misunderstanding between them made them to fight always. Today a small advice from his doctor helped him to overcome his problem. He understood the importance of spending time with her. The tears from her eyes explains him how much she needs him and how much she loves him. He then decided that though his job is important for him, he is also important for her.

The next day when he reached his office he as soon as logged into the online psychologist site. He saw his doctor online. He thanked her for the advice. Though it was her small advice, it was in a correct time for him. He said to her that how foolish was he to ignore his wife’s wonderful love for these days. She said “Hey by the way, remember that your job is also more important. Don’t lose your interest in your job” He replied “Sure, I will give equal priority to both of them.” She was happy that her advice helped a family. She then started to chat with one more guy, who was explaining her about his problem.

Kishore was then happy in his life. He was giving equal priority to both his wife and job. Swetha too was happy. Their life changed completely.

A few days later he was reading the news paper. He was caught by one of the headlines which read, “Group of Indian youngsters were successful in bringing out an online psychologist site with Artificial Intelligence” Then he understood that he was adviced by a computer and not a human. He felt how foolish was he than a computer. Of course computers are more attractive and intelligent than humans.
